The Portfolio Backlog<\/a> at the Organizational level<\/a>, the top level of all Backlogs<\/a>, contains Systems, Products and Application variants, as well as product variants for special markets. <\/span>Each of these product variants is described by a set of <\/span><\/span>System Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/a> (feature set). <\/span>In this way, the product variants can be <\/span>estimated against each other <\/span>with regard to <\/span>both the <\/span><\/span>benefits<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and the <\/span><\/span>effort<\/span><\/span><\/strong> to be invested <\/span>. <\/span>The so-called <\/span><\/span>Upswing Gravity Field<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a> is<\/span><\/span> used for <\/span>this in the P4 framework <\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Portfolio level is not necessary for organizations that create only one product.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
